Since its beginning in 1976, Bible Alive Ministries has been committed to a firm belief in the trustworthiness of Scripture. We accept both the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God, being without error and of supreme authority in faith and life.

Our Mission Statement: Bible Alive Ministries is a Bible teaching ministry that exists to support the local church in the development of Devoted Disciples of Jesus Christ,  Mighty Men of God who lead their homes in the ways of God, and Firm Families that are grounded in God’s Word.

Pastor Josh Tadlock

president

Pastor Josh Tadlock began assisting Dr. Richardson in early 2016 and became the new President of Bible Alive Ministries, Inc. in July, 2016 when Dr. Richardson retired. Josh Tadlock holds a BA and an MA from Trinity Baptist College and has done further studies at Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, NC. Both Dr. Richardson and Pastor Tadlock are passionate about and deeply committed to Bible exposition as the Word of God changes lives.

Dr. Ralph Richardson

Dr. Ralph Richardson and his wife Bertelle began Bible Alive Ministries as a faith based expositional Bible teaching and broadcasting outreach. Dr. Richardson held degrees from Wheaton College, Dallas Theological Seminary, and Luther Rice Seminary. Dr. Richardson went on to be with the Lord on March 21, 2020 as he spent his life faithfully serving and equipping the Church of Jesus Christ.

Thomas Quackenbush

Thomas Quackenbush has served with Bible Alive Ministries since 2016 and began as the office administrator in June 2020, he maintains the books, the courses, and corresponds with all of our donors. Thomas also has a degree in Apologetics from Carolina College of Biblical Studies, as he teaches on apologetic topics for the ministry, and hosts the weekly podcast.

The worship and Bible study with fellow believers and hearing God’s word explained, helps my understanding and has increased my faith and trust in my Lord. The understanding of God’s word and its application is very important to me as a Christian. Bible Alive Ministries is a major tool in aiding in my spiritual growth. Pastor Tadlock does a stellar task as he gives us precepts and examples to help us understand and apply God’s Word in our daily living.   My love for this ministry lies on the fact that we get the Word of God and not the opinions of the instructor. This ministry has caused me to evaluate my living more and to constantly align my life with the scripture. For years as I listened to Dr. Ralph on the radio, I said Bible Alive is the most appropriate name for the ministry. In 2005 I began attending the Bible study and it confirmed that the Word of God seemed to come alive as Dr. Richardson taught. On the first day I attended, the late Sue Phillips informed Dr. Richardson that I sing. God has blessed me to sing each Wednesday. Bible Alive is a spiritual lifeline that has strengthened my faith walk under the teaching of Dr. Richardson and now Pastor Joshua Tadlock, a powerful young man of God. Pastor Tadlock is on fire for the Lord, continuing the legacy of Dr. Richardson, teaching and preaching as God will have him.
